Royal Black is proud to present a mix tape of some new Basicali tunes by none other than DJ Buddy himself. Basicali’s album is due to drop on July 1st and we cannot wait to hear it.
Basicali was again featured on DJ Buddy TV, where Basicali and DJ Buddy can be seen sporting Royal Black apparel.

Mic and Dim Lights – 2nd IE Youth Slam Team Qualifier
The second round of qualifiers to form the IE Youth Poetry Slam team occurred on January 14th.
Royal Black was there to support the team and to help raise some funds for the team’s registration fees at the next competition.
Mic and Dim Lights – 1st IE Youth Slam Team Qualifier
This event held in California State Polytechnic University at Pomona Arts Theater was a qualifier to form a slam poetry youth team.

Hosted by slam poet Bess Kepp, it was a night of staccato deliveries, rhythm, and thought provoking words.
Slam Master Simply Kat
Royal Black is proud to announce that we are an official sponsor for the “IE Youth Slam Team” Lead by Slam Master and Coach/Slam Master Simply Kat. Our focus is to help design and provide a shirt based on the collaboration of Royal Black and the Youth Slam Team. All net proceeds from shirt sales will go into supporting the team as they tour and compete around the country.

Planet Maple Website Launch Party
Thank you to all those who came out and supported Royal Black and Planet Maple Board Shop. It was a good time of beer, wine, and delicious tacos.
Planet Maple provides an invaluable service to it’s community and Royal Black was honored to be there at their website launch party. Planet Maple provides a place for the community kids to hang out, chat, and learn new skateboard tricks in a community that lacks parks and places to skate.
11th Annual Thanks Givends Benefit
